Ingredients : Serves 4

  • 600g beef prime rib, remove excess fat if you like and cut into 5mm thick slices
  • vegetable, corn or sunflower oil for frying
    -----<for the marinate>-----
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and grated
  • 4tbsp red wine
  • 8 tbsp kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp grated sesame or toasted sesame
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chili bean sauce(toban djan)
  • ground black peppercorns

  • Mix well all ingredients for the marinate.
  • Marinade the beef into the marinate for about 2 hours in a fridge.
  • In a fring pan or grill heat the oil over a medium heat, spread the beef. Cook for about a few minutes and turn them over.
  • Serve with vegetables.
