FOOD---Beans & Tofu

Ingredients : Serves 2

  • 1 firm Tofu, drained
  • 6-8 raw prawns*, removed the dark digestive cords
  • 1/2 tsp Japanese sake
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2-1 tsp toasted sasame oil
  • sea salt
***Alternatively frozen prawns can be used. Thawn pouring boiling water.


  • In a small pan heat water with a pinch of salt and the sake. Bring to a boil and add the prawns for about 5 minutes.
  • Rinsed and drained. Shell and remove the tails. Chopped.
  • Divide the Tofu in 2 breaking roughly.
  • Top with the prawns and spring onion. Sprinkle the salt and drizzle the sesame oil.
  • Mix well together just before serving.
