Ingredients : Serves 4

  • 600g boneless shoulder roast, remove the rind and sliced 5mm thickness
  • 40g ginger, peel and finely grated
  • 2.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Japanese sake
  • 1 tsp vegetable, corn or sunflower oil for frying
  • julienned cabbage, for serve

  • Mix together the soy sauce, sake and ginger to make the marinade.
  • Soak the pork into the marinade for a few hours.
  • In a frying pan heat the oil over a medium heat, cook the pork with the marinade together for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Turn them over and cook another a few minutes or until cooked and slightly browned.
  • Serve with julienned cabbage.
