  • 3 tomatoes, cut into chunks
  • 6 slices of bacon, cut into 1cm
  • 1 clove of garlic, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & freshly ground black peppercorns
  • 220-250g Long pasta(Spaghetti)

  • Drop the pasta into a large (pasta) pan of plenty boiling, salted water. Cook according to packet instructions until al dente ;about 10-12 minutes.
  • In a large frying pan heat the olive oil and garlic over a low heat. Fry until lightly coloured for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Turn up over a medium heat add the bacon. Cook for 3 minutes.
  • Mix the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes. Set aside until the pasta is ready.
  • Drain the pasta in a colander and return it to the frying pan. Toss with the bacon and tomatoes. Season with the salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
