  • In a pan heat the oil over a medium heat, saute the pork until coloured.
  • Add the potatoes, onion and carrot until coated.
  • Pour the soup stock or water and turn up the heat to bring to a simmer. Add the sugar and sake.
  • Turn down the heat and add the soy sauce and mirin. Cook for about 30 minutes to reduce.
  • Add the peas and cook for about a few minutes.
