FOOD---Rice & Grain

Ingredients : Serves 2

  • 120g chicken breast, cut into 1cm cubes
  • 1 small onion, roughly chopped
  • 5 mushrooms. sliced
  • 4 tbsp frozen green peas*
  • 3 portions of boiled rice, warm in a microwave for 1.5 minutes
  • 5-6 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp worcester sauce
  • salt & freshly ground black peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp vegetable, corn or sunflower oil
*Roughly chopped parsely can be used.

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over a midium-high heat.
  • Fry the chicken until coloured and add the onion and mushroooms for about 3 minutes.
  • Mix the rice breaking up into pieces and stir-fry until hot.
  • Season with ketchup, worcester sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Add the peas until they are cooked.
